This section describes three priority outcomes which if reached will help us achieve our goal, and some suggested practical actions that might be taken to achieve them.
CH1 Knowledge about heritage
Knowledge of North Pennines cultural heritage is growing, and it is being made accessible in the ways people find most useful and engaging.
CH2 Intangible heritage
Intangible cultural heritage is kept alive (being supported and passed on to future generations and a wider audience).
CH3 Physical heritage
The physical features that most eloquently illustrate the stories of the North Pennines are well cared for.
The list of suggested actions is not meant to be comprehensive but to provide examples of the kinds of work which would support these outcomes. Some might be best delivered by an organisation such as the National Landscape team and others by a variety of groups, organisations and individuals, from inside and/or outside the National Landscape. Case studies of actions which have already contributed to each priority outcome are given.
