This section of the plan identifies a series of themes, shown on the lefthand menu.
Each of the thematic areas and/or components of natural beauty has:
- one or more associated outcomes, and
- a series of measures that, when taken, will lead towards achieving the outcomes
- an indication of the organisations and groups that have an important (but not necessarily exclusive) role in making the measures happen, either directly or indirectly.
This is a plan for everyone who influences the nature and heritage of the North Pennines, and it is purposefully not overly prescriptive.
Achieving the outcomes collectively is intended to bring about the realisation of the Vision.
