Key research interests include, but are not limited to:
- How should we prepare for recolonisation, reintroductions and range shifts? (e.g. pine marten, beaver, corncrake, yellow wagtail, corn bunting, shrikes)?
- Adder – estimation of population sizes, genetic variability and population connectivity, permeability of this landscape to movement/connection (see also Outcome NR1).
- Beaver – Landscape suitability, benefits and costs (and compensation schemes) associated with beaver re-introduction (see also Outcome NR4).
