Key research interests include, but are not limited to:
- Identification and mapping of wetlands including open water habitats, and their catchments.
- Trialling survey methods which can help us locate the highest value wetlands - to help prioritise conservation and restoration efforts.
- Testing eDNA technology and how best to deploy it to identify the nature value of wetlands and monitor them over time.
- Measuring the effects of different land management on downstream wetlands.
